Das Areal der ehemaligen “Ankerbrotfrabrik”. Viele ineinander übergehende Höfe mit Lofts, Galerien und viel Baustelle (noch). Kinder mit Musikinstrumenten, Sitzmöbel vom Museumsquartier, ein bisschen unfertig noch, aber eine gute Mischung von Alt und Neu. Die Umgebung ein Mix aus alten und neuen Häusern und geraden Strassen, wo man von nicht sehr viel abgelenkt wird. Der Reumannplatz und das Sonnwendviertel in „absehbarer” Nähe.

The former “Anker Bread Factory”, where bread had been baked until around 2000 is now home to different contemporary art galleries. There are lots of open courtyards and many buildings are still under construction. Located in the 10th district of Vienna, the area is a mix of old and new. Getting there requires some walking or bicycling, but you will get to know a part of Vienna which is entirely different from all the fancy tourist attractions in the first district. If you want, go to Reumannplatz and its pedestrian zone as well as the “Sonnwendquarter“. Both almost within walking distance.
