„LaTurbo Avedon” im MAK

    LaTurbo Avedon.
    Pardon our dust.

Alles in Allem: total kreativ.

As neither “LaTurbo Avedon” nor the show’s subtitle,“Pardon our dust”, rang any bells, I decided to go see this exhibit in the basement of Vienna’s MAK. A blue computer screen in a dark room at the end of a narrow hallway caught my attention.
Entering the room, I realized that this screen was part of the installation.
I watched the ever changing influx of colors and images, skillfully projected  around the dark room.
The installation was fascinating and proof of the artist’s creative potential.
After watching it for a while, I became curious what this was all about.
The information about LaTurbo Avedon, displayed on the wall next to the door, was all about gaming, avatars and web3 – all slightly confusing for me.
It took me a while to realize that “LaTurbo Avedon” was not only the name of the female artist, but also the name of her avatar in the digital world.

The website provides more information about this virtual creator.
