Ein junger Mann verteilt Ein – Dollarnoten am Boden in einer Ecke gleich beim Eingang. Der kleine Raum ist durch Glas abgetrennt, dahinter befindet sich eine schwarze Tafel mit allerlei Währungssymbolen. Die Scheine sind echt und das Ganze ist ein Projekt Namens “Artistic Bokeh“, in dem es um die Position des Dollar als Leitwährung geht. Es gibt auch eine website, da steht alles Notwendige was man wissen muss. Für einen Laien wie mich ist diese Installation ein “eye catcher”, den man spannend findet und ganz sicher eine neue Art, an Dinge heranzutreten und sie zu präsentieren.

The Dollar bills are real ones – at about 4000 I was told. The installation, a project called ” Artistic Bokeh” is a collaboration with the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. The website provides you with proper information – I am not an expert in this field at all. It certainly is a new and very interesting form of asking questions in the digital age.
